Lisa: Hello friends! It’s been way too long since we’ve posted on the blog. As many of you know, I’ve been burning the candle at both ends after having lost my oncology pharmacist work partner. But my new partner officially starts on July 9, so help is on the way! Honestly, Sophie has been a bit lost in the shuffle as I struggle to meet the demands of my job, homeschool, run a household, oh and TRY to enjoy life a little!
Well, back to our quest to help Sophie achieve her full potential. I have some great news to share: Sophie is finally going to get some professional assistance with learning to ride a two-wheeled bike without training wheels! The program is called “iCan Bike,” and she is registered for the July 9 camp session. We are very excited to see if all our years of hard work to develop balance, improve tactility, improve vision and hand/eye coordination, and improve global processing will pay off. Stay tuned to follow her progress.
Sophie: I love my recumbent bike. That’s what I ride now. But I want to learn how to ride a two-wheeler without training wheels. Goodbye folks!
Thanks for the update and glad help is on the way at work. I know Sophie loves music, so I’m thinking her summer theme could be “rock and roll” – music snd biking for summer fun!
