We started my vegetable garden in the basement classroom. I helped Mom plant it in March.

(Lisa) Sophie used to look at these baby sprouts daily and say, “Look Mom! Signs of life!”

Look at my garden now!!! I love to eat cucumbers. I water them everyday so they get big.

This is a tomato. It is not ripe yet.

These are beets. I do not like them at all, but Mom and Baba do. Blakh!

Sophie:  I water my garden every day.  Yesterday we planted spinach because I eat it all the time. I love my garden, but I hate mosqutios. Goodbye folks!
